Careful planning of your event running order helps ensure each presenter has enough time to deliver their content, engage the audience, and keep the overall schedule on track.

To help presenters manage their time on stage, we provide comfort monitors that display a clear countdown timer showing the time remaining.

Presenter timings are controlled from the AV Kit Hire media hub and set individually at the start of each section. The countdown is displayed prominently and changes colour as time runs down: green during the main presentation time, amber for the final few minutes, red for the final minute, and flashing red when the presenter’s time is up.

The timer is fully controlled from the AV Kit Hire media hub. We can also provide a remote laptop or tablet if the event manager would like to adjust timings directly.

The remote unit allows the event manager to make live timing adjustments, such as reducing time when a presenter is overrunning or adding time when the schedule changes.

Before the event, we recommend creating a running order using our available template. This should outline timings for presenter sessions, breaks, and other key sections so the event flows smoothly. The AV technicians then use this running order to set presenter timers and prepare any required setup, such as microphones, before each presentation.
